An extremely fine example of a George II coffee pot by Hugenot Silversmith, Benjamin Gignac.
It has a great presence, the solid gauge and heavy original repousse work quite evident.
There is a delightful mask at the centre point of the spout and the clearly struck hallmarks are evident at the rim.
A wonderful and original example of a mid 18th century coffee pot.
