Description
A lovely pair of William IV candlesticks in the George II manner by The Creswicks, James and Nathaniel.
Each is nicely proportioned and has an engraved armorial of a winged dragon (Wyvern) and a Latin Inscription that I've been unable to decipher. Possibly the arms of Palmer or Dennis.
Complete with the original fully hallmarked sconces, this is a very nice pair of sticks.
