A lovely example of a vivid blue Ceylon Sapphire and Diamond Ring, set in platinum and featuring a superb NO HEAT sapphire of 8.35 carats.
The sapphire is oval mixed cut and comes with a GIA certification of origin, size and no evidence of heat.
There are 1.33 carats of diamonds as well and the ring comes with an independent valuation for a retail replacement value of $45,000.
A stunning and rare stone, I'd say it dates circa 1960s.
