Description

A beautiful late 19th century silver two handled bowl, embossed throughout and hallmarked underneath, likely an Ausburg or German Provincial piece.

It measures 24 1/2 cm handle to handle, 11 1/2 cm across and 8 1/2 cm tall.

It is in lovely condition and features scrolling vines, shells, baskets of flowers and each handle has a pair of maidens drinking from cups.

It weighs 237 grams and is hallmarked with a lion rampant crowned and the letter "E" crowned.
