A very pretty early Victorian sterling silver basket with Bristol Blue Glass Liner made by the very highly respected George Reily and William Storer.
Hallmarked clearly for London, 1844 it is a very good example in good original condition.
The body features pierced scrolling work while the shell and scroll work feet support the whole.
There is an armorial of a bearded head between two raised armoured arms.
